Preschool Development Grant Birth-5
United Way of North Idaho is one of 12 Early Learning Collaboratives awarded funding through Idaho's statewide Preschool Development Grant Birth Through Five (PDG B-5)
Awarded in December 2019, Idaho’s initial PDG B-5 represented the first opportunity for the state to conduct research, planning, collaboration, and coordination of Idaho’s early care and education (ECE) systems.
We made use of this funding in 2020 to establish Early Learning Advisory groups in Kootenai and Bonner counties, conducted needs assessments, and developed local strategic plans.
