Kootenai County’s First Annual Childcare & Resource Fair – A Free Family Event!

Coeur d’Alene, ID – August 23, 2025 – Families across Kootenai County are invited to attend the First Annual Childcare & Resource Fair, a free and fun-filled event taking place from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Salvation Army Kroc Center in Coeur d’Alene.

Organized by the North Idaho Early Learning Collaborative and United Way of North Idaho, this exciting community event is designed to connect families with local, quality childcare providers, offer on-site registration for care, and provide access to a wide range of community resources. Children will enjoy engaging, hands-on activities while parents and caregivers explore valuable services and opportunities.

“This fair is all about bringing families, providers, and community services together in one place,” said event organizers. “Whether you're looking for childcare, employment in early childhood education, or just a fun morning with your family, this event has something for everyone.”

This event is made possible thanks to the generous support of STCU's Here for Good Foundation, Northwest Specialty Hospital, and the Idaho Association for the Education of Young Children (IAEYC).

Admission is free, and all families are welcome to attend.
